Future Meaning

What is Future:

Future is within the timeline what inevitably comes after the present but has not yet happened.

Future comes from Latin futurum which means "what is to come."

Future translates into English as future.

Future is a tense that indicates that the action will happen. There are several futures that are grammatically divided into:

  • Compound future or imperfect future: indicates that the action will have taken place as if it had already been concluded, such as, for example, “Maria will have taken public transport to go home”.
  • Simple future or perfect future: it is the absolute time that is used to express that something will happen in a time after the moment in which it is spoken, such as, "Juan will have dinner with Maria."

The future also expresses a perspective on something or someone as when speaking of the vision of the future or the expression “what the future holds”.

In economics or in the business world, future means the success that a company or organization will have. If the company does not have a future, it means that it will not be a good business, on the other hand, if an organization has a great future, it means that it will be very successful.

Knowledge or prediction of the future is something that humans have tried to decipher since ancient times. For this there are prophecies that claim to be revealed by superior beings or by divine inspiration.
