What is Ira:
Anger is an emotion composed of a set of negative feelings, which can lead to acts of violence. Both humans and animals feel anger.
In terms of nature, anger can also be mentioned to refer to the ferocity with which certain natural events occur. For example, "The fury of the fire was such that it destroyed all the houses in the village."
In this same vein, in the Catholic Church anger is one of the seven deadly sins. In this case, anger can manifest itself against oneself, for example, self-flagellation or suicide, and against others through violent acts or murder.
Whatever the case, anger is a feeling condemned and punished by Catholicism because it alienates people from God.

Anger is a very complex emotion that all people experience, it is present in any of our actions and can arise from various circumstances such as a labor conflict, unfair and disrespectful treatment, frustration for not achieving something, among others.
In these cases the anger can be as mild as a momentary disgust or transform into a feeling of resentment and hatred.
Anger is supported by other feelings such as anger, anger, annoyance, rage, anger, hatred, rancor, jealousy, envy, contempt, antipathy, powerlessness, rage, among others, which cause great irritability or resentment in individuals.

When one or more people experience a situation that provokes anger, they generally react to such a situation and express themselves through shouting, insults, hitting something. That is, people seek to attack as an act of defense or flee from a threat.

In psychological studies, anger is understood as a brain response that seeks to face a threat. However, specialists clarify that anger is not a predisposed feeling of human genetics nor is it part of its evolution.
Anger is a feeling that is part of human behavior, which is why it produces cognitive responses (interpretation of a situation), and physical responses (physical changes), many of which produce conscious decisions.
However, sometimes anger is so strong that people act without considering the consequences.
Sigmund Freud, creator of psychoanalysis, argued that human beings felt anger when they lacked love, that is, the needs for love and affection were not satisfied.
How to control anger
Anger must be a controlled emotion in order to avoid further conflict or difficulty. Psychologists suggest externalizing this feeling in order to avoid illness. However, its externalization must be measured to avoid violent or dangerous situations.
Each individual experiences anger in a different way, so it is possible to distinguish between passive anger and aggressive anger. Both can be controlled through therapies or different strategies, among which are:
- Don't give in to thoughts that breed resentment.
- Put into practice various relaxation exercises.
- Be respectful.
- Avoid negative revengeful, destructive or threatening thoughts.
- Put yourself in the place of the other and observe the situation objectively.
- Identify what caused the annoyance and express this feeling honestly, respectfully and without threats.
- Seek professional help in cases of physical or psychological damage in order to avoid future frustrations, excessive anger or anguish. It is important to lead a quiet life under positive thoughts.
