Meaning of Technical Process

What is a technical process:

The technical process is the series of systematized and organized procedures or tasks, in successive stages, that are necessary for the elaboration of a good or product. Technical processes are fundamental in today's life, and they intervene in different areas of human life.

Starting from technical processes, for example, the industry optimizes and perfects the transformation of raw materials into consumer products, through the use of machinery and labor.

In the construction of houses and buildings, the technical processes allow to coordinate the different phases and tasks that are necessary to carry out the work, such as preparing the land, manufacturing the materials and putting the construction itself into execution.

In administrative operations, on the other hand, technical processes allow a series of tasks to be carried out in an organized and systematic manner in order to solve a process, such as, for example, entering and registering a document in a file or library, and making it available of the public.

Industrial technical process

The technical processes applied to the industrial field are made up of a chained set of procedures and tasks that, arranged in succession, result in obtaining a specific product.

In this sense, throughout a technical industrial process the inputs or raw materials, be they of animal, vegetable or mineral origin, are transformed into products or goods that are later disposed of for their use or consumption.

For this, the industry uses different types of technology and sophisticated machinery, skilled workforce, and certain methods to optimize production, such as series production.

Artisan technical process

As an artisanal technical process, it is called that in which a set of traditional methods, techniques and instruments intervenes for the elaboration of a specific product, commonly known as crafts. In this type of process, manual work tends to predominate to a great extent.

As such, it is a more limited form of production, in which each piece is unique and has a particular historical and cultural value, since it is the result of a set of ancient knowledge that has been transmitted from generation to generation throughout the history. The times used for its elaboration, on the other hand, are comparatively greater than those necessary for the manufacture of an industrial product.
