**Recommended prerequisits:** Equivalent to the 3 first terms of the Engineering Mathematics program and one or some of the courses FMA021, FMS045, FMN045,FMN130, FMN050.
**The number of participants is limited to **10
**Selection criteria: ** Individual judgement of qualification.
**Assessment:** Written and oral presentation of a project.

**Aim**

Be able to understand the modeling process of a given mathematical modelling project in cooperation with other students and to gain necessary knowledge to finish a project.

For a passing grade the student must

- To gain necessary knowledge to finish a given mathematical modelling project.

*Skills and abilities*

For a passing grade the student must

- Be able to carry through a project in a group.
- Be able to carry through some part of a given mathematical modelling project.'
- To present in oral and written form the conclusions of the project.
